A little bit about me:
- I was born and raised in Greater Vancouver!!
- I'm Taiwanese/Cantonese! My mom is Taiwanese, and my dad is Cantonese (from Guangzhou.)
- I'm 21 years old.
- I'm a 3rd year sociology major at UBC.
- I'm fluent in Mandarin. I can't read or write Chinese though (but I'm planning on learning after I'm done my degree!)
When I started Vancity Noms it was meant to be an online journal of sorts for me to document and keep track of the lovely things I consumed on the daily! Now it's become a platform for me to share my love of food with the world and has given me the opportunity to connect with amazing people like you from all over Vancouver! I'm eternally grateful for all the opportunities and experiences this blog has afforded me and I'm truly thankful for each and every one of you!
To me, food isn't just something that is meant to be consumed, it truly is an art form. It opens the doors to culture, innovation, and all faucets of humanity comprehendible in every language.
"Open your mouth, open your mind."
*I removed my picture because I want to operate under an "anonymous" guise at restaurants because I don't want to receive biased treatment! I represent the masses, the ordinary diner!!
Vancity Noms publishes multiple times a week! If you have any questions or would like to work with me, shoot me an email at email@example.com
