Hamburger $2.85 Food Truck - Downtown

Right now I'm coming at you live...from the public library haha! My internet's been down for a couple of days, so I've been making the trek (1 min walk) to the library haha! Dedication people, dedication!
The wifi here is actually shockingly fast, I have to say, I'm pretty impressed haha! But I digress...
Yesterday I was walking around on Pender St when I noticed people carrying what looked suspiciously like Hamburger $2.85 burgers in their hands. In a moment of panic, I frantically search for a sign displaying $2.85 (being dramatic here) and in a moment of hysteria I locate the truck across the street!
They keep things simple: Cheese or no cheese? The answer is always: cheese.
That's a mighty fine looking burger, if I do say so myself haha ;)
4/5 stars
This is the best $3 burger I've ever eaten. The last time I ate a $3 burger was at MCd's and I just about vomited (ok not really, but it wasn't that appetizing) haha! When they handed me the burger, I was a bit shocked. It looked like a gourmet burger, it smelled like a gourmet burger, and tasted like a gourmet burger!! The beefy meat is sandwiched between two fluffy toasted buns, smothered with Teriyaki sauce and mayo!! The teriyaki sauce definitely makes the burger! It's sweet, salty, and combined with the mayo, it's just drool inducing! I love how they include a huge chuck of iceberg lettuce and a thick slice of tomato, unlike the sad whittled pieces of "lettuce" at fast food chains haha! The cheese was perfectly melted and gooey,  which added just that extra kick of flavour. Did I mention that service was great as well?! The girl serving me was super friendly and all smiles!

Anddd...who's going to the Khatsalano Street Party tomorrow?! I'll be at the vip press party so maybe I'll see some of you there! :D
